A Gentle Thought - Travel without safety!!!
My dear friends give a
serious thought to the following anecdote.
A very intelligent boy Adarsh from a middle
class family in Mahboobnagar district shifted to Hyderabad to pursue his
career.
A
promising job in IDEA brought him to
this cosmopolis. He had to leave his family behind with a heavy heart. Loving
parents and siblings bid adieu with their best wishes and tears.
Ten
months into his job Adarsh was steadily climbing the ladder and mastering the
finer nuances of every challenge in his path.
An
evening invite to a party by a colleague could not be missed. Adarsh and his
friend in the office Ravi were travelling by bike to Banjara Hills for the
party.
Enjoying
the respite from the summer heat due to a sudden shower from the heavens they
were travelling on the Patny flyover from East Marredpally towards Banjara
Hills.
Danger
looms suddenly and unexpectedly always catching one unawares isn't it???
A
big sized Auto trolley at a very high speed hit their bike from behind.
Ravi
lost his balance and fell forward. Quickly he got up and removed his helmet to
help Adarsh. The scene he witnessed was completely unexpected and shocking.
LO and BEHOLD he saw Adarsh crushed in between
the Auto trolley and the Cement divider with a bleeding head and face. There were
SEVERE HEAD AND FACIAL INJURIES ON
ACCOUNT OF NOT WEARING A HELMET.
Adarsh
was shifted to the nearby corporate hospital and immediate Emergency Accident
Trauma Management was done. All medical aid in proper time could not bring back
Adarsh SHATTERING THE DREAMS and
Aspirations of a promising youth and his family as well.
A FERVENT APPEAL
PLEASE REALISE THE IMPORTANCE OF HELMET
DRIVING AND EDUCATE AS MANY AS YOU CAN.
ALL STATE GOVERNMENTS SHOULD MAKE HELMET
DRIVING COMPULSORY AS A RULE.

TOOTH DECAY AND TYPES OF CAVITIES
SMOOTH SURFACE CARIES:
Some cavities initiate on
the smooth surface of your teeth.these are smooth surface caries.these caries
progress because of the bacteria present inside the enamel matrix of white spot
lesions.fluorides may kill the bacteria, but patient’s behaviour and correct use of the topical
fluorides gets critical.
CERVICAL CARIES:
Also called root-surface
caries.they decay rapidly.these caries occur in old age when root surface
becomes vulnerable.these caries are mostly formed in those mouths that have
decreased salivary flow.Besides age, periodontal diseases and poor oral hygiene
also lead to these cavities.

HOW TO BRUSH OUR TEETH
1. Place bristles along the gum line a; a 45 angle. Bristles should
contact both the tooth surface and the gum line.
2. Gently brush the outer tooth surfaces of 2-3 teeth using
a vibrating back, forth &rolling motion. Move brush to the next group of
2-3 teeth and repeat.
3. Maintain a 45 angle with bristles contacting the tooth
surface and gum line. Gently brush using back forth & rolling motion along
all of the inner tooth surfaces.
4. Tilt brush vertically behind the front tooth. Make
several up & down strokes using the front half of the brush.
5. Place the brush against the biting surface of the tooth
&use a gentle back & forth scrubbing motion. Brush the tongue from back
to front to remove odour producing
bacteria.

Why Is It Important To Brush Your Teeth
It's also important to brush because when you brush, you're getting a lot of the plaque build-up off your teeth. Plaque
build-up is harmful because it can lead to gum disease and tooth decay. It can also severely irritate the gums. So, the lesson that we learned here today is to always brush your teeth.
